UPI 123PAY
Voice based technology is the future of payments. It unlocks many opportunities for banks and financial institutions to improve modern customer experience. It promises convenient and hands free payment system for its users. UPI 123PAY is a payment solution that was initially launched by RBI for making seamless UPI payments through feature phone. However, today, both feature phone and smart phone users enjoy the ease and simplicity of using UPI 123PAY in 3 simple steps.
It is a voice based solution through which efficient access to UPI is available to all users. Using UPI 123PAY is fairly simple – one has to onboard on UPI through the usual bank account / debit card process and set UPI PIN. (note: the onboarding process is for first time users only. Existing UPI users can link their existing mobile number and bank account and onboarding will be complete.) UPI 123PAY is currently available is 8 languages bringing in inclusivity among all users.
